— A deputy responded at 11:58 p.m. Wednesday to the 11000 block of state Route 170 for an alarm activating at a front door. A deputy checked the first two buildings to the north and was in the process of checking the third building when the homeowner came out said two buildings belonged to his son, who was away. There had been a power failure and he opened the front door. There was no problem.

— A Pugh Road resident reported at 3:44 p.m. Wednesday fraud to his PA unemployment (TRA) account.

— Jonathan A. Bobo, 42, no address listed, was cited for possession of marijuana after an officer found a folded dollar bill in the passenger door of his vehicle following a traffic stop on state Route 267 at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in which he was a passenger. The driver, Todd Williams, no age or address listed, was cited for no driver’s license.

— An officer responded to a state Route 170 business at 10:47 p.m. Tuesday where an employee reported a moving truck had gone through the drive thru, striking the red awning and causing damages.

— A caller reported at 9:27 p.m. Monday a woman she knows had stolen $150 from her purse.

— An officer responded to the Fawcett Apartments on Moore Street at 12:07 a.m. Thursday where a resident requested EMS for a possible sexual assault. During the investigation the resident was found to be having some psychological issues and was ultimately transported to the hospital for evaluation.

— Brandon Hoschar, 26, no address listed, turned himself in on an active warrant through East Liverpool Municipal Court at 8:50 a.m. Wednesday.

— Officers responded to a Pauls Lane home with the planning department and humane society at 1:49 p.m. Tuesday to check on animals. The homeowners were told the planning department would be following up with them.

— An East Fifth Street resident reported at 12:58 p.m. Tuesday a man she knows is harassing her by being around her apartment and calling her phone.

— The owner of a rental property on Franklin Avenue reported at 2:59 p.m. Thursday he issued an eviction notice to the tenants and now they have been harassing him. He also said he can hear them damaging the inside of the property.

— Officers responded to the 600 block of East Sixth Street and found a man the residents wanted to leave. The man went to a family member’s house to avoid further issues.

— An officer received a call from Akron Children’s Child Advocacy Center in Boardman at 1:31 p.m. Thursday in reference to a reported sexual abuse case.

— An officer responded to the 2100 block of East State Street at 9:56 a.m. Thursday for a report of fraudulent prescriptions.

— An officer responded to the 2100 block of Pearce Circle at 2:13 a.m. Thursday where a resident reported an unknown man was knocking at the door saying he was lost. The officer spoke with the man in question who said he had gone for a walk and got lost. He was transported home and his mother was advised of the issue.

— Officers responded to the 700 block of East Fifth Street at 2:09 a.m. Thursday where a resident reported finding a tire on her vehicle flat after people she is having issues with had driven by twice.

— Officers responded to the 1000 block of North Ellsworth Avenue at 11:33 p.m. Wednesday to assist Perry Township police locate a missing juvenile. Officers found the missing juvenile and notified Perry Township police, who arrived on scene and transported the juvenile home.

— Officers responded to the intersection of South Broadway Avenue and Aetna Street at 10:03 p.m. Wednesday in reference to a one-vehicle crash. The driver said he was northbound and hydroplaned into a concrete post on the side of the road. The vehicle was towed from the roadway. No injuries were reported and no citation issued.

— An officer responded to the 100 block of East Wilson Street at 7:57 p.m. Wednesday to check the welfare of a juvenile in a home where the residents were possible using narcotics. The officer spoke with the juvenile who said she was fine. The officer also attempted to speak with a resident but was unable to do so due to a speaking problem.

— An officer responded to the 9000 block of state Route 164 at 6:34 p.m. Wednesday to assist Lisbon police on a stop in which a K9 was requested. The K9 indicated the presence of a narcotic odor and the driver admitted to smoking marijuana in the vehicle earlier in the day.

— Officers responded to the 1200 block of South Lincoln Avenue at 4:59 p.m. Wednesday where a resident wanted a person removed. The person left without incident and agreed not to return per the complainant’s wishes.

— Officers responded to the 300 block of East Fourth Street at 3:37 p.m. Wednesday in reference to a distraught person and found the man sitting on the sidewalk. Due to the multiple calls the department received, the man was given a disorderly conduct warning to told to go inside his home.
